Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound techniques and earned an TKO 2nd round win. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first fight of note came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by majority decision.
